REVIEWS

"Craig recently ran two full day physical theatre workshops to prepare and engage the drama class for their work on our group production. His approach was immediately engaging, challenging and inspiring. The activities he prepared effectively moved the students beyond their comfort zone and in so doing encouraged an environment in which they were safe to create, enjoy, grow and develop the confidence to perform publicly. I have since asked Craig to continue on in the rehearsal process and his input, enthusiasm and professionalism is invaluable to the students but also to me. I have already recommended Craig to other colleagues and engaged him at our school to run future workshops with all the drama classes. Craig is an invaluable resource and I look forward to a long and positive working relationship with him."

Le Fevre High School

"Craig is a brilliant physical theatre performer, actor and teacher. I’ve had the pleasure of inviting Craig to work with my senior Drama students for the past 7 years. His genuine, caring, funny and personable nature has an instant effect on students - he treats them with respect whilst simultaneously pushing them to give more of themselves onstage.

I highly recommend Craig to come into your classroom to support your work; devise with your students; or run sessions of his own. My advice: give Craig some guidelines of what you’d like to achieve in a session/ lesson/ workshop, and then step back and just let him do his thing. He’s a master at it, and you’ll be soon be wanting him back for another class."

Pulteney Grammar School

"Craig is an absolute pleasure to work with. He has taught my students physical theatre workshops which have been a massive eye opener for them. His teaching style is fresh and innovative and far from boring! Craig has given my students the tools to gain the confidence in taking risks, and to extend themselves in ways they thought of before. I will continue to use his services and would 100% recommend McArts in any capacity."

St Peters Girls School

"Craig has run spectacularly engaging physical theatre workshops with our Stage 1 and 2 students for the last four years. He has encouraged our diverse cohort to step out of their comfort zone and embrace a different style of performance. Craig's work has supported our students to build greater connections with one another, enabling them to work as a collaborative team. They have loved every minute of their time with him. Thank you Craig! We are looking forward to having you back next year."

Thebarton Senior College

"My year 9 students had a great time using music and theatre skills in this active workshop. My year 8s had a mixed reaction as we have some reluctant thespians in that group. Their loss. Those who engaged thought it was awesome."

Waikerie High School

"We had Craig come so a physical theatre workshop with our class. They had so much fun. Craig makes everything accessible and easy. They were pushed outside there comfort zone in a safe way. Great teacher."
